    I don't often leave a review, but I felt this was important in case it can help someone else in a similar circumstance. As a single mother I am often leary of mechanics for fear of getting taken advantage of. I left my car for the first time to get an inspection at Bay Diagnostics. True to what the owner said I got a call within 1.5 hrs to pick up my car. Not only did they do a speedy, professional, inspection without trying to con me into unnecessary repairs, the gentleman who worked on my car offered to change my registration sticker as well. I know this doesn't seem like a big deal but for a woman who is often fending for herself and her children it's the little acts of kindness that make a big difference. I almost wish I didn't have an American car so that if and when I do need any repairs I can return at any time. However, I know that if they can help me they will and they will do it with honesty and kindness- two attributes that are rare and difficult to come by these days. Thank you for taking good care of my Jeep and this single mama! Much success to your business always ❤️

    Bay diagnostics (Jordan) was the most pleasant experience I have ever had at any car shop. I only went for a wheel alignment but service was amazing and price was fair. This was also the cleanest and most well kept auto shop I have seen. Goes to show that Jordan truly cares about the work environment for himself and his employees. Not only is the day of service good. Jordan would follow up to make sure everything is working properly and make sure he did his job. They are definitely awesome in my book. I would recommend them all day. Thanks Jordan

    My first experience here was after BMW. Brooklyn refused to take another look at the repairs that were done by BMW on my car. As this was an electrical problem on a 20 year old car, I was super nervous about getting into a goat rodeo trying to diagnose it. The owner, Jordan, call explain to me that one of the benefits that they have over other shops is that he has dedicated technicians that do nothing but track down shorts and gremlins. Had back to me within two days, no surprises with respect to their initial estimate. Some of the reviews have noted that Jordan may come off as arrogant. I can definitely see that, but I would argue that it’s confidence. They really are that good.

    I found this business in the days when I needed to make a decision on whether or not I can make a week-long travel on my new car. The problem was a Check Engine light going on unexpectedly (I know nobody ever expect it to come on, but it's a brand new car with 50 miles on it) I needed to make sure everything is ok and I needed this to be done fast. One would think about a dealer. I did too, however, the dealer had a month back-up in their scheduling, so they just apologized. The "Bay Diagnostics" was my solution. I'm very happy I found them, made a call, discussed the situation with Jordan. Next day I brought the car into the shop on Gravesend Neck Rd. It was accepted immediately. The mechanic ran a full computer diagnostics of the engine and its error messages which caused the Check Engine light. He was very knowledgeable and explained what the issue was. It was some minor exhaust valve adjustment issue, but for me it was a great relief as I was free to go on to that road trip I planned for so long. Great service! Great people working at the "Bay Diagnostics"! I would recommend all my friends to use this business without any hesitation. Thank you, guys! You are awesome!

    Long time supporter of Bay, as my family has had 3 cars serviced with them. Today's review is a bit of a downer. I recently had service done on my e90 which ended up coasting just under 6k. Not one to complain about prices as i appreciate quality work and things being done right the first time. As a few days passed i started to notice a burning smell. To my surprise, i noticed the power distribution box had began to melt. I took the car back to Bay as i had feared an electrical fire etc. I was told i would have to pay $400 to have it replaced. As i stated prior, i love Bay and normally mention is to those looking for a new shop. However, today I feel taken advantage of. Why is it that I had to come out of pocket for a repair that was not under my control. My battery had been changed by Bay so there for i feel they should have taken responsibility for this repair. In the past year i have almost spent 10k on repairs. Never complained or made anything an issue. But again as a loyal customer I don't see how this made sense. All in all not sure i'll be back. Following up on the response. The other codes had nothing to due with the melting of the power distribution cap. Also you guys said you would not touch the "aftermarket wire" however, i checked this morning and the wire was removed and off to the side. All in all it is what it is. But lets be honest here, i did not bring my car to the shop with that issue and somehow it fell on me. AND yes, i did tell Joe on the phone i installed the seats and yes i did explain that the lighting system light was triggered once I tried to reset the battery to clear the SRS code. I am a honest man and customer, I get no satisfaction by trying to insinuate or lie to prove a point. There are a lot of other small factors i didn't mention in this review for the purpose of not wanting to be petty.
