Land Rover/Range Rover Factory Maintenance Schedule

Your Land Rover/Range Rover is equipped with a service interval indicator in the instrument cluster and will notify you when it is time to take it in to the shop.

5,000 Mile Land Rover Service

Every 5,000 miles (or about six months), perform the following vehicle maintenance checks:

  • Engine oil and air filter – change if necessary
  • Tire pressure, tread and wear/tear
  • Lubricate chassis
  • Check car battery and cables

10,000 Mile Land Rover Service

Here are the maintenance checks that should be done every 10,000 miles, or every 12 months–whichever comes first:

  • Check coolant levels
  • Transmission fluid levels check and top-off
  • Steering and suspension

15,000 Mile Land Rover Service

The standard maintenance on Land Rover models at 15,000 miles includes inspection of the following:

  • Drive belts
  • Exterior lighting
  • Exhaust system
  • Hood latch assembly and door checks
  • Parking brake and brake system
  • Power steering system fluid levels, cooling system fluid levels
  • On-board diagnostic system
  • Underbody
  • Windshield wiper blades, windshield washer fluid levels
  • Wheels and tires
  • Crankcase oil filter and cabin air filter replacement

20,000 Mile Land Rover Service

Maintenance at 20,000 miles includes:

  • Replace air filter
  • Check and clean the battery; perform anti-corrosion
  • Inspect windshield wiper and washer systems
  • Inspect lighting system
  • Inspect exhaust
  • Inspect coolant
  • Inspect fuel system

30,000 Mile Land Rover Service

At 30,000 miles your vehicle will get all of the 5,000, 10,000 and 15,000 recommended inspections as well as:

  • Brake line and hose inspection
  • Brake system fluid change
  • Driveshaft inspection
  • Fuel line inspection
  • Seat belt restraint system inspection
  • Steering system and power steering hose inspection
  • Suspension inspection
  • Wiring harness inspection

40,000 Mile Land Rover Service

Maintenance at 40,000 miles includes:

  • Replace the transfer gearbox oil
  • Inspect exhaust system
  • Inspect brake system including brake calipers, drum, and pads
  • Replace differential fluid
  • Inspect horn operation

60,000 Mile Land Rover Service

At 60,000 miles your vehicle will receive all the maintenance from 15,000 miles, plus:

  • Suspension inspection
  • Wiring harness inspection
  • Steering system inspection
  • Seat belt restraint system inspection
  • Power steering hose inspection
  • Fuel line inspection
  • Driveshaft inspection
  • Brake line and hose inspection
  • Brake system fluid change

After the 60,000 mile mark, your Land Rover/Range Rover should be brought in every 15,000 miles for the recommended inspections above, in addition to regular oil changes, brake inspection and tire replacements.
