Josh grew up in New Jersey working at his family’s auto repair shop, doing what he loved the most - fixing the cars! At age seventeen Josh bought old Volkswagen, went to junk yard, paid $65 for Transmission and replaced himself and he has been in love with auto service ever since. I drive a 2020 Land Rover Discovery, and after a few heavy summer rains, I noticed the trunk carpet was damp. Turned out there was a sneaky leak around the tailgate seal. The techs found the issue right away and resealed it properly. They even cleaned and dried the entire area for me. No more musty smell, and I feel confident again hauling gear in the back. Appreciate their attention to detail — they treated the issue like it mattered.

Took my 2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport to Desi Auto Care after I noticed a coolant warning light coming on during longer drives. They found a small leak in the radiator and got it replaced quickly. No more warning lights, and the engine’s running cool even in this heat. Super thankful for their quick and thorough work!

Just had my car serviced. Multiple lights were on related to ABS and traction control. Front right tire was making a strange noise for over 2 months and was misdiagnosed by two other mechanics. Desi Auto took my car the day I called, diagnosed, kept me informed, ordered the parts and tires, and it’s running like new! Had to replace my clutch on my car, obviously once they pulled the transmission out they found some more items that could be fixed pretty easily and gave me the option to do the repairs or skip them. They were able to do the clutch and a few of the accessory repairs all in one day. They are very helpful, professional, and friendly. Highly recommend.

Had the classic Land Rover issue: engine light comes on because the sensors are so narrowly calibrated. Called Desi Auto Care, had in by early morning and got it back by 4pm. They were prompt, did the job, communicated my options to me by text and let me make my own decision. I opted to deal with the small engine light related issues. My final bill was small enough- the amount of the parts-labor it took to sort out the issues.

I had done 125k service and some suspension issues. I'm thankful that they've never over-torqued my lug nuts, which is the problem I've encountered at other shops. I do my own small maintenance, like changing light bulbs and air filters, and they never try to upsell me.

Desi Auto Care really helped me while visiting in Jersey. I was in a jam because I was traveling and my car was acting up. I called the local dealer and they were no help. Desi Auto Care was totally opposite! Sam helped to accommodate my traveling situation. He understood I was on a time constraint. I felt like he gave me a detailed explanation and fair price. I didn’t feel someone was taking advantage as many shops do these days.

Josh has walked me through what needs to be repaired, what kind stuff going to do to fix the repair, and why it is going to cost the price he told me. Josh took a few photos during the process of repair to display the issue I could not visibly see or understand to let me know that he was not just trying to take my money. And I did not even ask for it. I am so particular of car needs to be taken care of at a very higher level than your average cars and I have accepted to pay fair for it. Now I know that Josh and his guys are trustworthy and reliable. I have finally found my mechanic.

I have been having my Velar maintained by Desi since the beginning. Lead mechanic always pointed out upcoming service/repair needs during the multi-point safety inspections. Reasonable turnaround time on unscheduled jobs…..like emergency intake manifold replacement.

I haven’t owned a Land Rover in past, always weary of dealerships and their mechanics. I decided to try Desi Auto Care.

Oddly, I was walking my dog few months ago and I walked by Desi, I was admiring a Rover-Velar out front, the owner of the vehicle walked up, we struck up a conversation, he raved about the Desi Auto Care's quality and responsiveness. I never forgot that recommendation, I now agree. They fit me in timely, didn’t try to upsell me any stuff, and had my repair done before I knew. Great so far!

After two unsuccessful diagnostics with different mechanics on a noise coming from my SUV, my manager suggested I bring to Desi Auto Care. I explained possible location of the noise with Josh and said description of the noise. He seemed confident about what the problem was and offered his diag. His mechanic confirmed Josh diagnosis and my SUV was returned noise-free. I have been back for few other repairs, also a maintenance, and every time I got confident that the problems have been resolved to my satisfaction. Whenever unexpected issues happen, he make sure that issue is addressed right away and his customers are well taken care of. I'll not hesitate to recommend your shop to others.

As usual these techs are knowledgeable mechanic. Took my Evoque to be serviced and diagnosed for a crazy humming sound. Dealership want to charged me to replace parts for $1900. Desi Auto Care fixed for a fraction of that, and service for ANY maintenance is a very good price here.

Honest shop for transmission issue? You decide? I was having bad transmission vibration and malfunction warning sign on my dashboard. I was very much in panic mode. I called Desi Auto Care. AAA towing truck drag my limping RR to their shop. Turns out-it was a simply the bad ground wire. Took about 40 minutes to diagnose and fix!

I’ve been taking my LR4 to Desi Auto for at least 7 years, and the experience has always been positive. The real test was when they/me discovered I needed to have the engine replaced. I would have been hit with a expensive cost for a brand new one, but they searched for a used engine and wasn’t satisfied until they found the correct one with low mileage. I put a lot of mileage on my Land Rover, so when it was completed it’s now better than ever. And the price was easy on my wallet, considering major job engine replaced. I appreciate all the support and I’ll always visit for maintenance and a check up whenever needed.

I bring my Range Rover in for two air suspension replacements. Was a low price and job was done on time. Doug also made some good recommendations for 2 maintenance services that were possibly ignored by my Range Rover's previous owner. Liquid-Moly 100% Fully Synthetic oil and OEM filter including completing house cleaning.

Brake system flush/cleaning and re-fill up.

Air circulation & cabin filters was near the replace miles. (new)

Engine/injection system adjusted for maximum smoothness also I feel that.

Brakes inspected and rotors-pads still have more miles to wear.

Computer sign re-set so system alert—warning goes off.

What is my piece of mind worth? In this service PLENTY!

Chris explained what needed to be fix (to a non-mechanical customer like me) and sent me home with full report documentation. He also checked the tires, brakes, oil levels and all over condition and said things looked alright for now. How refreshing to find a shop provides "only needed service."

About 50 miles into the trip before crossing bridge to Phila, it started engine noise, seems my gears were grinding with the engine shaking violently. Quickly I pull to the side of the highway and smoke started coming out of the hood. Everyone out of the truck and called my insurance company for roadside assistance service. I begin to inspect while we waited for tow, and I saw oil leaked all over the front (and rear) bumpers, looks like oil was spilled while I was driving. This was extremely questionable since I see no warning light on the dashboard. Chris couldn't diagnosed the problem right away but he performed diagnose a week after, exchanged communication and guided me to the right direction. Go for it!

My Lexus lost power while driving to office and it was broken down on the side of the road. Called local tow service, my first call was to Sam who told me to bring in. Their appointment was full but he promised me he would do his best to check my car earliest. This was on Wednesday afternoon, I got a call from mechanic who assessed that my water pump had given out. I wasn’t expecting to get my car back until a week. But they completed the job in 3 days with 2 years warranty.

My battery had been draining every few days if I do not drive it. I asked Chris to troubleshoot if there was a draw on it. He explained the diagnostic process and possible cost to me. He could spend more time inspecting, but unlikely to find anything and it’s probably better off if I just got a new battery if I wanted my truck to start properly every time. I agreed. Battery issue resolved. I’ll be bringing my Rover and Jaguar here in the future!

Dependable and NO gimmicks. Highly recommend.

Both technnician were good attentive and fast to respond to my questions. He did a perfect work in replacing suspension that were worn out. This is during the end of my vacation where I have limited time to leave my truck, but he accommodated me and the service was done before next morning. This will be my go to LR technicians moving forward.

I’m not auto savvy so I depend totally on what a mechanic explain to me, so that honest relationship is very important. The very first sign of BS and I am gone! I met Josh cool guy with a lot of knowledge. I took my Discovery in with an ambiguous issue mainly wasn’t running properly, no clear issue. He diagnosed, quoted, fixed and I had it back to me before they close. I’m planning for a long relationship with this shop.

After diagnosis of my SUV Josh told me: now you and me know what’s causing this warning sign to light up, but if you do don’t want $195 to burn right now, this part can definitely wait a few thousand miles before replacing it.

My Range Rover was brought in on for transmission problems. Turns out that the whole transmission needed to be replaced on top of the transmission thermostat and transmission oil cooler per their recommendation to prevent future damage. With my approval they replaced the transmission as well as thermostat and oil cooler with a great warrant. Best service in the area.

Chris got my 4X4 running again without replacing any parts!

My LR had engine signs for a cylinder misfiring also a sensor issue sign. I tried to fix myself until I was clueless. Called my tow guy for vehicle to Desi Auto Care expecting the costly repair. When I got call from Sam, they had perfectly running again without replacing any new parts. Diagnostics mentioned it was dirty badly, so mechanic removed and cleaned hose, plugs etc., drained it, and finally make it running great again. Very happy!!

Josh is the best! After being over charged at the dealer for long time, I was so happy to have found Desi Auto Care. The job is honest, affordable, and on time. I'm thankful that he shows you what parts need repairing and gives you few options. He can tell you if you need it repaired now or it can wait. Flexibility - he does not push you to do anything unnecessary. It's always your decision. If you have a Rover, this is where you need to have it repaired!

We needed a battery replaced soon, called my mechanic and he couldn't do it right away. Sam replied my email quickly and within 2 hours my battery was installed. He also showed me the old battery and specially showed me the dates on it. If only all mechanics were this honest. I will be bringing in for any service. I had to towed and was nervous because I had no idea what was issue with my car. I was thinking it was an axle may be something related to brakes-caliper because of the big bang it made and I thought it will cost me at least $1000 or more... since car would not move it was dragging the left front wheel.

These techs were professionals after assessment, told me it will cost me about $350. I called them in my lunchbreak and he told me repair was about to be done and it would cost me $262 including tax. I was stunned! I will be referring all my coworkers to Desi they made me a customer for life. P.S-Chris and Josh you’re the bomb!

Chris/Josh both professional and patient techs. I'm a new driver and an immigrant, which means repairing my car in America can be complicated task for me. He took video of my damage parts, sent me email to explain what the issue was and how they going to resolve it. They gave me enough time to fully consider it and waited untiI I fully understood the repair job and gave "go ahead signal" and the job was nicely done.

I would definitely recommend them to my group. They deserve to be known by more customers.

After calling them I took in here for a window regulator replacement and issues of engine was idle poorly after a cold start, the technician thoroughly inspected whole vehicle, fault codes p050b revealed in the engine control. Diagnoses were more accurate than a previous mechanic's for why the SUV is having problems, who said "I'm sure just a sensor broke." The appointment made in advance and the repairs were made very quickly the next day. Prices were less (I checked online). They does not overcharge and do careful job. Absolutely trusting this shop to keep fixing my both vehicles! uses original parts and made sure every aspect of the vehicle was in top condition before I paid the bill.

Had some major electrical issues on my truck after I decided to do it myself and replace the drain plugs, which I was failure. I had no choice but to take it in. Good customer service they provided. They emailed me process of troubleshooting the issue I had until the repair was done. Honestly thought the pricing was very fair due to the amount of labor they use. In 2018 my previous mechanics recommended me here. It was been wonderful!! Chris been personable, knowledgeable of Land Rover makes/models. He would explain things a couple of times if necessary, for me to understand. And he was always willing to do inspection to see if there was something wrong.

Now my engine needed to be replaces because of head gasket failure, heater core failure, too much oil leak and many other things... and it's only 82k miles. Engine replacement was completed within given time frame (a week). I would recommend him to anyone needing Land Rover service.

Visited Desi Auto by chance as I was getting a quote from a nearby shop. My RR was in need of soonest repair as it was shuttering and concking out during idling. Got new hoses plus new coils and plugs. It runs much better. I got low price on the emergency repair. Chris is the mechanic who wants to do the job right. So listen to his advice and evaluate accordingly.

We have used Desi Auto Care exclusively and happier with job. Our last visit for thermostat housing leak and rattling noise of worn timing belt required to leave the SUV for few days as parts were ordered from California. Andrew is a straight shooter and not trying to make a buck off customers. In reality he's always advised us to wait on repairs if they were not necessary. He found some hard to find parts for much less price and he stands behind all his repairs for two years. If anyone is looking for competitive labor prices and repair executed correctly - look no further!

I took my car here for a check engine warning light issue. I was given a diagnosis while I was waiting in the office. They ran a smoke test to determine the issue, stating it was the gas hose bib. Got the car fixed the first time thanks to Chris.

Bad starter that "shorted out" and caused small fire that also burned wiring, intake assembly and intakes and much more....

Finally, dealing with my warranty insurance company was a lot of work. I won't disclose the final price, other than to say I was really amazed at how low it was. Chris even fixed a pesky headlight issue I was having since few months. You could not find a better technician/advisor than him.

I took my hatchback to the dealer for an oil change. Dealership told me that I needed everything from hoses to a battery...and spark plugs... grand total of $4780. Oh! I was told that to have my check engine light diagnosed it would be an extra $195. I decided to leave. I made an appointment with Desi Auto Care for check engine light diagnosed. The charge? $0. Not $195. I like this shop.

While state lockdown was going on, I brought my old one that was having transmission issues. Highly rated mechanic shops in Pennsauken told me that I'd need to change the whole transmission out (Refurbished 5K + labor) I got a second opinion from Chris who investigated and it was addressed with a $182 repair. He does the job himself which is another reason I like these DESI guys!.

Called my dealership to get repaired few issues. The service manager gave me a date 3+ weeks out.

Google searched and found Desi Auto Care. Talked to courteous Katelyn and asked to setup an appointment. When I was at the shop and Andrew did a thorough test and told me that the only thing that needed to be fixed was to replace the battery and asked me to go to dealer because my battery was still under warranty. He didn't charge me a dime. Unbelievable! I'm glad I found these dudes.

I trust these mechanics since they opened. I went in for an oil change, after draining, Chris realized the previous owner had over- tightened and stripped the oil plug. He was able to smartly fix this, staying after hours (7pm) to put in a new thread and saving me from having to go through a $3K oil pan replacement in the process.

Throughout the work, Chris took the time to invite me in the shop-bays and look at the issue, and the repair process. It's nice to be so well-informed and well taken care of.

I brought my rover in with a laundry list of problems. Chris is extremely knowledgeable about British engines and was able to identify what is needed and the best path forward. Unlike the dealer I was previously going to, he was able to property install all components and didn't try to up-charge me with unnecessary add-ons. I was having issues radiator broke, then head gasket, then needed to replace some injector coils... The issues just kept coming and coming... and I was even thinking putting my Rover on Craigslist because it was in not a good shape.

After dropping my car off to desi, he sent me video of my car and giving me a thorough diagnosis on all the problems that accumulated since long time. Long story short, now car drives best, service was professional. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Two problems (1) Air suspension is failing (2) Engine oil leak. Now I'm in trouble at 39K miles and Land Rover/Jaguar dealer won't warranty it since it was reported 4 months after the warranty expired. Sean is a professional LR technician, he investigated the Crankshaft main bearing carriers was the cause of an engine oil leak and replaced the Air Suspension Spring. It was very difficult to diagnose the problem but Sean solved the problem with friendliness and at a reasonable price. I recommend. Just give them a call. Thx! -Mindy. Phila.

Dropped my car off at midnight with their 24 hour drop off service, without making an appointment and Sam was willing to accommodate me because I was on tight schedule and going out of state. Top mechanic worked on my car and fixed the oil pressure issue I have had for a long time and pointed out a future maintenance. It was my first time and it's worth for you to put the place to test. I came here after my rover smoked up one morning. There wasn’t a chance in hell I could drive the vehicle and got it towed just to be told “it could not be repaired” by my regular mechanic. I decided to look around and keep it as local as possible. I chose this shop (Desi) because they are located close to my work place.

Never did I feel pressured to buy something I didn’t need. Sean explained everything to me in a way that I understand (I’m not knowledgeable when it comes to cars and their inner workings..) and was able to get my 8 year old car running again. I’ll recommend this shop for everyone.

He asked me to come see under my vehicle to show me what he was explaining, offered some solutions that would be better than the ones I asked about, at a price way lower than I anticipated and offered to help me figure out what needs to be done now and what needs for later. I'm was at shop after the rear differential broke. the bad news - repair was very expensive. but that's not Shawn's fault but the dang Rover I owned. When I was at shop (inside the repair bay) he showed me what happened. he basically made it hard not to trust anything he does and that's important to me. One thing I liked, when I paid it was another 100 bucks less because I received his coupon in mail.

I have never had a bad experience at Desi.

I've taken my Rover in for mechanical issue (catalytic converter) and window repairs (someone vandalized windows), as well as check-ups before every long road trip I have taken in the past 3 years. The price has always been fair, they never trying to sell me anything I don't need (and I double check the cost online & with my brother who's a European auto mechanic in Las Vegas) I always pay cash! Credit card companies take a percentage of the small business profit right off the top.

Sean knows his Rovers. He is a certified master tech and Rover expert. I had problem with power steering, I had the pump and hose replaced at a shop in North Brunswick only to find out that the issue reoccurred 3 weeks later. Other shops told me to replace the steering rack ($1K +) but he simply told me that it was because the reservoir was not replaced, the metal particles from there re-entered the system. After another pump replacement, re-bleed and new reservoir, no more whining noises.

Fellow Rover enthusiasts, don't waste your hard earned dollars elsewhere to fix other shop's mistakes. Go to Sean to get it done right-first time.

Walkable from PATCO railway station roughly 5 min if you walk. They are always busy so expect a week turn around depending on what the issue with your car. Shawn knows inside and out about Rovers! Jessica the customer service rep is on top of all calls, estimates and emails and highest quality workmanship is done on all issues top to bottom. top caliber shop in greater Philly. Pay a little now or a lot later, rings true on Rovers. He's got your fix.

Shaun went above and beyond the call of duty last minute on a Wednesday to fit me into the schedule so I could get a Rover I was planning to purchase evaluated. He was honest with me about the state of disrepair that my previous car was in and gave me valuable advice.

I've now been back to Desi four times, and without exception they deliver an impeccable service, thoughtfully diagnosing problems, recommending what's necessary, and explicitly NOT recommending anything extraneous. LR repair is done to the highest standards and priced fairly.

I'm someone who isn't afraid to DIY a lot of repairs, I've found Chris very open to helping me figure out what are DIY-appropriate, and what might need their help (and they've bailed me out of a tricky situation when complications arose). Really, they're a stellar LR shop.

Impressed! from the moment I inquired for service to the moment. I walked out when my Land Rover was done. Told me to bring the car the next morning and they did the work all in same day. Incredible shop. Shaun has probably saved me at least $1,000. The exhaust warming light on my Rover refuses to disappear. Cherry Hill shop says, I need diagnosis and catalytic converter.

Got my 2nd opinion. Shaun knew of a software update from Land Rover and as usual, he has now gone the extra mile and performed this for me for the princely sum of $68. I wish every Land Rover owner in area could know of this amazing asset in Shaun and his team. Your vehicle is likely to outlive you!

He actually listened to me describing my problems. He was able to look at my Rover while I waited. Due to the late delivery of parts he was unable to fix it at that time. Instructed me on what to do and then return so it could be fixed. Now here’s the best part, he filled up all fluids without charging me any money. I was return on Wed and happily paid them for their parts-labor.

Felt like my business was a priority. Drew quotes me for a brake job on my LR over the phone in 45 minutes from my original call, and the cost was waaaaay...less than what the dealer had quoted. When I brought in to have the rotors measured to make sure we were getting the right parts, Drew's quote was dead except there was some extra labor needed due to the electronic emergency brake. Drew WAVED that labor. I brought in the next day, and all the work was done in just 3 hours. I definitely recommend Desi Auto Care.

I looked up "Land Rover repair shop near me" and Desi Auto Care popped up.

I took in as the service light came on. They had the car overnight. Sean cares for customers above everything. He know his stuff when it comes to Land Rovers. I fully expected to get told about what $8,000 in repairs my vehicle would desperately need or the wheel would fall off and explode if I drove away without fixing it. Sean told me that the LR was running perfectly and what to look for and what they were going to monitor on the next visit to see if there were any changes. I'm sure he could have tried to upsell me on something I didn't need.

But he was just awesome down-to-earth and an honest man.

It's always a gamble taking a car to a new mechanic. I didn't have much of a choice, my car overheated right down the Lindenwold Railway Station and the Desi Auto Care wasn't far from there. I called and managed to drive my car there, about 25 minutes after they had closed, and there was one mechanic waiting for me. Rachael worked with my extended warranty company and made the process so easy. They finished the work on time as promised and my car is driving better than before.

Whenever I need expensive repair, new breaks, a transmission flush, oil change, I'm here at Desi Auto Care.

Shawn as he has for years, carefully checks everything out and never tells me I need to repair something I really don't need to. Never pressure me or takes advantage of my lack of knowledge about mechanical issues, even does little things he wasn't asked to do - like taking care of a squeaky steering wheel or lubricating a hung up hinge - at no extra charge. But more than that, he is an expert mechanic who takes care of my baby like it was his own.

I took the car to dealer across the Garden State Park, where they tried to "upsell" me with $1900+tax worth of unnecessary repairs. I was referred to Desi Auto Care by a manager at Whole Foods. The service was unmatched and absolutely affordable. No overcharging for service. The time they took to complete the service was impeccable. Sean was very knowledgeable about my Rover and willing to explain things that I had no clue about. I highly recommend these guys for completion of any maintenance for your German autos.

They aren't your typical repair shop. Two people always in the office and answers every phone call by the 2nd ring, means take their business seriously. I've taken my cars to Desi Auto Care for everything, from oil changes all the way to pumps, clutches, and power steering pumps. The results are what keep me coming back. I gave him some crazy anywhere else. I now have several cars under Sean's supervision (BMW 5 Series, Rover and Audi A5) and have been please with all the work and his candid responses to my questions.

I'm a first time customer at Desi Auto Care.

Sam asks his mechanic to recharge the freon in my Land Rover truck on a moment's notice and even stayed beyond their shop hours to do the job. The price also seemed more than fair. Cherry Hill dealer couldn't fix in this job for 8 days. In Southern Jersey no air condition in June for 8 days? Hummm...I can't.

I was recommended to Desi Auto Care by a well-known repair shop, they insisted that I "go to a LR expert on the White Horse Pike."So I did. After going on a test" drive Ryan was able to hear a major problem on my Rover, got back to the shop and within a reasonable time diagnosed a broken sway bar link and multiple upper control arm defections. Needless to say , my car is running like it's in the INDY 500!

When I moved to Moorestown, my car was under warranty, so I had taken it in for routine service at the dealership, they charged me $186 for nothing, and generally a useless expense. By the time I got to Desi Auto Care, I was angry, frustrated and mad on German engineering.

Long story short, for repair or maintenance (recently they done my brake job-fair price!) this is the shop my Rover goes to.

I found Desi Auto Care after searching for a knowledgeable local independent Land Rover repair shop. I own Rover - that's my darling! and Mike diagnose at the car with the same admiration as me. I have had some service done at the shop including black smoke from exhaust fixed, steering shaft issue and oil changes. I ask him to look at the lousy suspension while car was on the lift and he found a broken suspension bracket. I approved the work. The car now runs best ever, and I am a long term customer. He knows how to keep your Rover in top condition.

This shop understands the importance of a relationship vs. a transaction.

It's always a scary taking my '03 Discovery to a new shop in for post warranty service. My 1st trip there he pointed out that something was loose near the axle/wheel that could have resulted in a serious problem eventually. He tightened it down, free of charge. He showed me that my tire was wearing very thin, plz replace to avoid a blowout.

After long time my 2nd trip to replace window motor, I walked in and they remembered my name and my car. Again he went above and beyond. I am impressed with Shawn's knowledge. He takes time to give car-review to make sure everything is right and ready to roll.

He is an amazing mechanic! I took my LR to his shop after a scare with engine problem. (Other mechanic in the same vicinity made me believe to be a scare) He informed me that there was no real issue with my engine. I just had one spark plug out and needed a normal servicing on my vehicle.And he is saving me a 28 miles drive to my regular mechanic, whom I am still going to be loyal to since we have a history of him taking care of my vehicles, but he will have to understand that I will also be Desi Auto Care's client too.

Dead battery needed to be replaced on same day brought me here, and he did not disappoint me, Andrew was knowledgeable man, down to earth and the service was fair priced.

I do not hope to end up back here, but I will gladly return if my Range Rover acts up again.

We have two Land Rovers and had terrible experiences with dealers and repair shops in South Jersey. Last week my LR3 had the brake warning light come on and we needed to be fixed ASAP. Shawn let us drop the truck off after hours and put the key in the night drop box, looked at the truck the next morning and low and behold, the previous mechanic did not install the brake pad wear warning cable properly and it wore through from rubbing against the wheel. A quick replace and inspection, we were good to go. We are having issues with our Land Rover Discovery and cannot wait to bring that to him as well. Never in all my life have I met a mechanic with such integrity.

Suddenly, the air would only blow warm. Never good in July! We made the mistake of taking it to the Land Rover dealership, and was told that the relay....etc (whatever ?#&?!) needed to be replaced and that it would cost me $897 or more...it's depend on bla..bla..bla...ouch!

My boyfriend a.k.a. The Defender (knowledgeable about car things) gave me Desi Auto Care a buzz. Receptionist told him to bring the car in and they'd make sure it will be reasonable cost. No joking!! They got the work done by evening, and only charged us $115. Savings of $782!! They just made loyal customers out of us..we'll not enter in dealer parking lot again.

They called me and my boyfriend by our names - love that!

I was in for an alignment, after a nameless mechanic jacked up my Range Rover steering. Sean put car on the lift and showed me things, including a plastic shield that was rubbing against a tire.

I thought I only needed a front alignment, which he quoted me. After further review, he saw that the back end was out of whack too and fixed that...for only an extra $20. He fixes the plastic shield for free, and showed me all the technical info. as far the alignment went.

As a car buff---I was impressed to see he's a no-BS, serious mechanic, and his shop looks efficient. Xie Xie !!

With mechanics I always look for this:

* Pleasure/easy to work with

*Interested in what's good for my car and wallet.

This is a professionally run business and I believe the only Land Rover shop in south jersey, though they fix all sorts of foreign cars.

Shawn is an excellent mechanic and gave me accurate and fair estimate. All the work was done very thoroughly and in great time. The fuel pump in my Range Rover gave out as I was driving down the I-95 and Shawn and his team saved the day including giving me rides back and forth from my home.

Its a local shop specialized in Land Rover, personable, honest and charges a very fair labor and parts price. I would never take my Land Rover anywhere else.

I've had my Discovery into Desi Auto Care three times in the 11 months for various repairs such as a Front crank seal, Cool conversion, Window regulator, also for routine maintenance for Transmission fluids service and Coolant flush. Have been extremely satisfied on each visit.

Honest and flexible. Is that possible? Not only did he honor the time that I could bring my Land Rover, but he also honored the time limit he said it would take (40 mins.). That means a lot to me because I've been to mechanics who say bring your car in now and you race over to find 10 people ahead of you.

THEY DONE REMARKABLE JOB WITH LOW PRICE!!

And the waiting room? i felt spoiled a bit, it was a nice waiting room, with lots of free refreshments, but the best part? It was clean! This is my new Land Rover specialist shop.

Bought Rover Sport to desi auto care with a front right suspension fault and also some squeaky brake issues and they told me they could do it all in one day and they could also process the warranty claim for the suspension fault.

Being somewhat of a pessimist and weary of auto shops I still brought to the dealership to have them take a look as well. Dealer service department took TWO DAYS to just tell me what I had already learned from these guys in 15 minutes.

I didn't even have the dealership look at my brakes bcoz they would've charged me just for the "diagnostic". They gave me a quote on the brakes and rotors though and that was $1450!!

So I brought back to desi auto care and it coat me $570 out the door plus two years warranty on parts and labor. It was done in less than half a day. The guy I interacted with (Sean) was fantastic.

Trust me! First go to Desi, get an estimates than you'll realize what I'm talking about.

Shawn is by far the best Land Rover mechanic in business! Also he worked on my BMW before, and I wouldn't trust it to anyone else. He is honest and reasonably priced.

When my Land Rover wouldn't start because of a faulty wiring connection on my fuel pump, he fixed it with a new connector and sent me on my way. Another mechanic could, and probably would hit me for a new fuel pump. Recently he did my head gaskets, and valves. The LR not only runs great, but when I drove it nearly 2000 miles in few days, I had no issues. I highly recommend that anyone with a Land Rover, go see Shawn!

Called my Land Rover dealership to get my 2010 Range Rover Sports fixed/serviced. The service manager gave us a date 3+ weeks out. Looked online and found Desi Auto Care. Talked to receptionist who was courteous even though her phone was keep ringing and asked me to bring my car to the shop.

Literally 35 minutes later I was at the shop and Sean absolutely took care of the situation. Did a thorough test and told me that the only thing that needed to be fixed was to replace the battery and even asked me to go to interstate battery place bcoz my battery was still under warranty.

Did not charge me a cent! Unbelievable!

I made an appointment for next week for regular service and major repair job

This is a quality Land Rover Operation. My daughter is in New Jersey with the Rang Rover...and i'm 2,700 miles away on the West Coast. She had an A/C problem (after repairing the whole system in North Brunswick NJ) that a few unscrupulous folks in North Brunswick said needed a complete rebuild...etc.

Shawn and Mike of Desi Auto Care worked with us to get it fixed...turned out to be a compressor.

We also done some engine work. these folks stand behind their work and took the extra time to make sure it was done right. In the process we have been there a few times for minor items and plan to be back again for the regular checkups.

-All work is warranty for 2 years or 24,000 miles including parts & labor.

-Offers huge varieties of FREE refreshments, coffee, soda, snacks...!

-Makes good donations to local charity.

-Remember you by your name.

-Female friendly auto repair shop atmosphere

I can't say enough about these folks. Honest, easy to deal with, and reasonably priced for the quality work.

Just moved 2 NJ and needed 2 get my valve cover gasket replaced on my Rover. I knew that no matter where I went, the labor costs was going 2 be pricey but still did some research in 2 other places before taking my car 4 service.

A female like me in a mechanic shop or dealership, you know how that goes. Most are going to 2 try rip you off. Called and got a quote, pretty reasonable + good reviews + they assured me that I was getting my car back that same day. Shawn was A1 (top quality) !! Immediately checked my car and showed me where the problem was. Very satisfied. Got my baby back that same day and couldn't have asked 4 more! Blessed!

Shawn is exceptional technician!

I took my LR3 in for what could've been major transmission issues....turns out to be wrong bulb in rear brake lights which was causing transmission faults on my car.

He was able to detect this problem and fix it right away. The car had no transmission issues at all.

Anyone could have either scammed me into a new transmission or really not have been knowledgable enough to know wrong rear bulb can cause this kind of misleading fault to the car

Friendly suggestion:: plz spend some money on advertising, so people can find your shop easily. YOU FOLKS ARE THE BEST....!

Superb work! My 06 Rover supercharged required a new window actuator. Works great and I swear a technician from the assembly line had put it in; very smooth and the fit and finish of the door reassembly is OEM spec. Quality work done right with a friendly staff that is helpful in looking out for their customers. I would highly recommend and look forward to future maintenance visits with the desi auto-care team!
