Tim O'Connell, an ASE Certified Master Technician, opened the doors to HRM Automotive in 1991. At that time, the company's name stood for Hooes Road Mobil, a tribute to the business that launched his career. Today, it stands for the company's motto: "Honest Reliable Mechanics".

A resident of the area for more than 40 years, Tim is actively involved in the community and takes great pride in helping area residents receive quality car care. In fact, Tim's children attended the same schools as he did as a child. That level of community focus and local pride sets HRM apart from other automotive repair facilities.

    Had my daughter’s car throw a bunch of codes. Brought it to HRM and they diagnosed and fixed the car in a reasonable amount of time. Ron and Tim were very easy to work with and kept me in the loop as we waited on parts. Very good experience working with them and my family will be going back as services are needed.

    Their name says it all - Honest, Reliable Mechanics. From the moment you walk in you now you are in a good place. They don't charge crazy fees, they use great parts and quality oil. Ron is a salt of the earth kinda guy, the kind you want in your corner when things start smoking and flashing!! As a female I am 100% comfortable taking my vehicle there without the worry of them taking advantage of me.

The customer service (Ron) is always top-notch — he is patient, professional, and takes the time to thoroughly answer all my questions without ever making me feel rushed. The waiting area (and the entire shop) is pristine, which speaks to the pride they take in their work. Most importantly, they’re trustworthy and genuinely pleasant to deal with.     HRM and Ron were helpful with my window regulator issue. I had investigated the cost. And it was not cheap. I found them professional and explained the issues upfront. I believe their price was fair and service on target. I would recommend.
