Much of this experience is under the Jaguar-Land Rover banner and, as such, Shineé will prove to be a huge asset to Gertie’s primary clientele: Land Rover owners.

The cream of the crop!

I went to Ms Gertie's for dire help and help is exactly what I received! Shanae handled me with kit gloves and the service I received was far above par. I will always go back to them for my vehicle repairs. Super honest and completely up front. A true value to this community!

Power steering problems. Gertie's quickly identified the source of the problem and of the repairs needed parts ordered and installed ASAP. Multiple other items were identified at varying levels of need. I selected several and those got taken care of promptly. Excellent customer service.

I couldn't be more thankful to have this garage and this Range Rover expert right here in Gig Harbor. These guys went above and beyond, from an extensive full vehicle health check report to accommodating tight time frame needs on my end, and doing it all with incredible communication. If I could give more than 5 stars I sure would, its deserved!

My Range Rover doesn't give me problems very often, but this time I found myself stranded in an intersection. Within 5 minutes of my call to Gerties Garage, Damian was there to rescue my car and take it back to his garage. Their service is excellent and very much appreciated!

Outstanding shop, highly competent. Understood what I needed on the phone, yeah, I actually got to speak to the Technician/Owner! Damien was willing to trust my own diagnosis and agreed, as he has owned several Discovery II's before. Joey was on top of all paperwork, and emailed me my copies before I left the shop. They actually charged me less than quoted! My best friend dropped by while my car was being worked on and was so impressed he is recommending Gertie's Garage to the members of the Volvo car club he is President of. I received a follow-up phone call and a thank you note in the mail as well.

Can’t say enough about Galloping Gertie’s Garage. Damien and Joey helped me and my family out of a jam when our Rover decided to quit on the freeway on our way to our daughter who was in the ER. I called and they were able to get me in same day (Land Rover Fife soonest was July 25 with zero empathy) we had tow truck drop the rig off and we’re greeted by Joey, big smile and hand shake, invited me into the shop (which was spotless) and checked me in. Wen he asked me if I had a ride to my daughters I told him I was renting a car, he said hold on, and came back with a loaner (with help from Damien I’m sure). WOW, now that’s service, you don’t get that anywhere very often! The vehicle was done next day. Again WOW, they even asked how my daughter was, class act. Kudos to the whole shop of professionals, this is now the only place for all my vehicles. Thank you!

The team flushed the injectors and did an oil change. The vehicle runs better and gas mileage went up after the injectors were cleaned. The garage is very clean and the team is quite professional. Their communications were clear and estimates contained sufficient detail.

Damien did a thorough job on my Range Rover. Sent a complete list of things that needed to be addressed before starting the service and got my approval to address the items that I approved for repair. Excellent customer service and communication, highly recommended.

I highly recommend Galloping Gerties Garage. I had a headlight that needed replacing last minute before a road trip on my Range Rover Sport (which is tricky to replace). Damian went out of his way to get me in the next morning right before I needed to head out. He finished up quickly with a job well done. The shop is beautiful and sparkling clean and the waiting room was really nice as well. Its hard to find a good Land Rover shop in the pierce county area—so I very am happy I found Galloping Gertie's. I will be doing all of my repairs here from now on.

Gertie’s Garage provides state of the art service. Everything you need to know about your vehicle’s service is provided in writing with very intuitive communication. There is no pressure to do recommended services but options are thoroughly reviewed with you in order to make informed choices. Your car is returned to you as promised running perfectly, plus clean and smells great! Damian and his team are the best! We feel lucky to have them taking care of our cars.

Damian and the team were awesome. They had a diagnostic result and plan to resolve sooner than expected. The amount of detail and information communicated about the required work far exceeded anything any other shop has done. The communication helped inform the decision process and was a clear investment in building confidence with the customer. I so appreciated the partnership and will definitely be back for any future improvements on my Land Rover.

Damian and the technicians at Gerties Garage are excellent. Had my Land Rover in for a leaky water pump which was diagnosed and fixed quickly and at a fair price. Additionally, Damian went through the entire vehicle and created a customized maintenance plan at no additional charge. Unlike most shops that 'fix and forget' I received a call from Damian a few days after the repair to check up on my vehicle. A check engine light had come on after the service and Damian and team promptly took the truck back in and went through everything to ensure it there was nothing wrong. In my long history of owning and servicing European vehicles (both at the dealer and independent shops) I can honestly say I've never experienced this level of service before. If you own a European car and want 'above and beyond' service, give them a call. (here's a picture of my truck just for fun)

Great customer service and communication! Damian treated my Land Rover like it was his own and even took the time to call a few days after sorting out my steering gremlins to make sure all was well. Would highly recommend and will be going back when I need more service.

Damian at Galloping Gertie's garage is awesome. He has worked on my vehicle since I've owned it and the work has been exceptional. It was nice to find a shop on this side of the water, and not have to go to a dealership, that is able to do the work this truck requires. As long as I own this truck and live in this area, Galloping Gertie's Garage is where I will take my Rover.

Gertie's is a quality shop with fair pricing. Damian services both my Range Rover and Subaru and I have full trust in Damian's team. Service is top notch and their experience with luxury vehicles is unparalleled in the Gig Harbor area. When I purchased my Evoque it needed some work; Damian walked me through his inspection report and worked with me on what needed to be done now and what could wait. It's been about 7 months since we've started and I can tell you the car runs better now than when I first bought it. If you're in the Tacoma, Seattle area they're worth the toll.

Galloping Gertie's Garage is the best garage I've ever taken our Rover (or any) car to! They are honest, efficient, thorough, and skilled. The customer service I received from Galloping Gertie's Garage was impeccable. The shop owner is kind, organized, and really knows what he's doing. As long as we live in the Tacoma area, this is where my husband and I will be taking our cars to be repaired and maintained.
