Fall is the perfect time to give your Land Rover a little extra attention. With the cooling temperatures of Fall, unpredictable weather and slippery road conditions, Land Rover maintenance is more important now than ever.

One of the most important things to remember to do for your Land Rover in the Autumn months is to check your tires, both the tread depth and air pressure.

Here’s why it matters most:

Traction and Safety: Fall brings wet leaves, rain and early morning frost, all of which make roads slippery. Worn tires reduce grip, increasing your risk of skidding or losing control.

Changing Temperatures: As temperatures drop, tire pressure decreases. Underinflated tires wear out faster, lower fuel efficiency and can affect handling.

Winter Readiness: Checking your tires now gives you time to rotate, replace or switch to winter tires before the cold and snow arrive.

Tires are your first line of defense against Fall road hazards, so taking a few minutes now to inspect and adjust your tires helps ensure safe driving and better performance throughout the season, especially since the holidays are right around the corner.

And as a side note: I just got a fresh set of tires for my VW Jetta last week!

Search for a local, independent Land Rover repair shop with Land Rover mechanics that have dealer-level expertise at a fraction of the expense.
